JD BACK IN TOWN

The irrepressible golfing legend John Daly is returning to the Broad Acres this summer, for ‘An Evening With...’ event at Moor Allerton Golf Club. The two-time major winner, known popularly as ‘JD’ has a simple mantra for playing the game: “I hit the ball as hard as I can. If I find it, I hit it again.” If Happy Gilmore had a real life equivalent, it would be big JD! The big day is Thursday July 27th and guests including the star attraction arrive at the Leeds club from 10am, with a shotgun start round commencing at noon. A drinks reception begins at 5.45pm, followed by dinner and then the entertainment begins with Daly providing not just his unique insight, but quite possibly breaking into a song or two, if he brings along his guitar! A team package for four costs £800 and includes breakfast and dinner, on-course refreshments, a goodie bag, evening welcome drink and a printed picture with JD. Among the golf prizes is a hole-in-one trip to the Masters. There are still sponsorship opportunities available, with event sponsor pack- ages at £3,000 (+VAT) which also include dining at the top table with JD and a framed, signed photo with him, plus multiple pre-event and on-the-day branding. One headline sponsor at £10,000 (+VAT) will have JD make up their fourball, receive further branding and a signed piece of memorabilia from John Daly.
